Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Take on a range of tasks from basic to advanced
- Assembly of control panels including wiring and testing requirements
- Understanding drawings and schematics
- Oversee and guide apprentices on selected jobs
- Installation of control panels in an on-site environment, including testing and commissioning
- Training clients on control panels as required
- Designing and adding control systems to generators
- Design small aspects of installation and wiring
- Install and wire components in the generator
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- WA Electrician’s Licence
- WA Drivers Licence
- Experience in control panel/switchboard manufacturing
- Experience in industrial installation work
- Demonstrated ability to plan and organise tasks
- Ability to work professionally and unsupervised
- Ability to problem solve
- Experience training and mentoring apprentices
- Experience in power generation and Switchboard
- High Voltage Switching Operations
- Experienced in installation, maintenance, fault finding, testing, commissioning and shutdown work
- Computer literate, i.e. proficient in Microsoft Office or previous experience with control system software
